Personalization is not the last, but the first step

At Leathersthetic, there are no "100 items available." Personalization is the reason an item is made specifically with a particular person in mind, not for a warehouse of stock. It's how an item becomes personal, transforming it into something that will be cherished for years and carry memories. Depending on the effect you're looking for, I use three different techniques.

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving offers the greatest freedom.

It can be:

- a name
- initials
- a date
- a short text
- your own logo
- almost anything that can be converted into a vector file

There are no limitations on font choice or size.

Engraving changes the surface of the leather using a focused laser beam, becoming part of the leather itself without adding any additional material to it.

It's suitable when you want the personalization to be discreet, modern, and completely individual.

 

Blind Debossing

This is the classic way to personalize leather goods.

I use brass letters that create a permanent impression on the leather through pressure.

The result is a clean, minimalist look that becomes even more beautiful with time as it follows the natural aging of the leather.

For this technique, you can use:

- Latin letters A-Z a-z

- numbers - 0-9
- certain punctuation marks - ,.;~-'"

-symbols - !@#$%&*+=/?^☆★♡♥

**Height of capital letters is 5mm

**Font is standard - Times New Roman Serif

 Gold Foil Debossing

This is the same technique as blind debossing, but with the addition of gold foil.

It creates a more expressive contrast that catches the eye immediately.

This personalization is often chosen for gifts, anniversaries, and special occasions when you want the item to have a more formal look.

It is applied with a professional machine heated to a precise temperature, which permanently adheres the foil to the leather so it doesn't peel off. 

Which technique should you choose?

If you want maximum freedom and your own design, laser engraving is the most suitable choice.

If you prefer the classic look of leather goods, blind debossing remains the most traditional option.

And if you're looking for a more elegant accent, especially for a gift, gold foil debossing gives a more luxurious appearance.

There is no right choice. There is only the one that best suits the person for whom the item will be made.
